After a long career in secondary education,  I now have the freedom to embrace my creative side and direct all energies to my  business venture…Up Peacocks Alley Boutique. ( A boutique of original art, ladies' fashion and home decor.)   I have aggressively pursued my desire to paint and am a self-taught abstract artist working primarily with acrylics .  Color is the heartbeat of my art.  I aim to evoke emotions and spark joy through vibrant hues and dynamic compositions, making art a joyful exprerience for everyone.  Through an artist's eye, I am excited to provide creative, artistic, unique, whimsical, fun and over-the-top items from other artists as well as items created by me. 

How did the name, Up Peacocks Alley, evolve? My BFF (Best Friend 

Forever), SS (Soul Sister), PIC (Partner in Crime) was notorious for tagging her ‘Peeps’ with nicknames. Because of my bodacious style, one of the many nicknames she gave me stuck like glue…PEACOCK. (Actually, I thought it was perfectly befitting.) And, now, you know the rest of the story. I cherish the name even more since I lost my life-long friend to cancer in 2014….she was my kindred soul.
